This is a marvelously entertaining and masterfully written ode to the many joys of two-wheeled motorized transportation. Johnson details the joys of the solo cross-country road trip so convincingly that readers will be checking their teeth for bugs. He heads to the Bonneville Salt Flats to hang with extreme speed addicts, explores the world of biker gangs, dabbles in dirt-bike motocross racing, and drags readers up some of the most harrowing hill-climbing trails one can imagine.
