Review: In this classic tale told by Jane, we see her start as an unwanted child sent off to an unbearable school for orphans. As she matures, she develops a sense of self and duty that enables her to find love as a young woman, see the love thwarted by circumstance, and finally rise above it all. This is an excellent story of overcoming obstacles without losing yourself and having the strength to seek what you really want in life. Much better read as an adult than a HS student!
