Title: Unbroken: a World War II story of survival, resilience, and redemption

Review: Unbroken is a page-turner. Hillenbrand is an extremely talented storyteller who did an admirable amount of research, and the unadulterated life of Louie Zamperini merits 5 stars.
As a footnote, Hillenbrand's extensive references include one of the most haunting, memorable books I have ever read, Iris Chang's "Rape of Nanking". Chang was writing a book on the Bataan death march when she committed suicide in 2004.
