When the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum first opened on June 12, 1939 in Cooperstown, NY, the Hall of Fame officially became the home of baseball by serving as its cornerstone and housing the stories honoring the greats of baseball's past.  The Museum details the history of America's pastime with over 38,000 artifacts in its collection.
