Adult Summer Reading Club Review: Against Medical Advice

Title: Against Medical Advice
Author: Patterson/Friedman
Review: The story of Cory Friedman is one that will touch your heart forever. Cory has OCD and Tourette's Syndrome. The story begins when Cory is 5 and concludes when he is 17. Through what seemed like insurmountable odds Cory persevered and achieved what most thought was an impossibility. While he still has symptoms, they are much less often and severe. He has achieved what many can only dream of. He is now a successful businessman. Telling the story in "Cory's voice" makes the story of his life all the more real and personal. I loved the book and most likely will read it once again in the future.
